Archaeological Museum of Patras
The Archaeological Museum in Patras showcases some of the region’s oldest artefacts, with both a permanent collection and rotating exhibitions focused on discovery.
The museum’s stone façade, attached to a honeycomb panel for reduced weight, features a zinc-foiled dome that flows from an outdoor water feature through the glass entryway, guiding visitors inside.
A skylight moderates natural light in the exhibition space, while a walkway spans the building, offering clear views of ancient ruins and mosaics in the permanent collection.
